Craft time

It's starting to get a bit chilly in Athens and Rob needs a scarf so I've decided to take up knitting! My neighbor Cathy offered to teach me and today we went shopping for the necessary equipment. I purchased a few needles and one ball of yarn to learn with, but it will probably take 5 or 6 balls of yarn to complete the scarf. Check back soon for updates.

  1. This made me smile :) When we were back in college and had been married for a year, I took up knitting and set out to knit Brent an all black "man scarf"......I got halfway through and never finished. It got packed up and I found it this year when we moved again. So I finished it and gave it to Brent....almost 11 years later. Brent is excited to wear it this winter :) I have now made each of the boys camo scarves and am finishing a pink one for myself :) Have fun! Maybe when we finally get together again you and I can sit and knit while the men talk;)
